Faith but not by Sight đź’•

Faith but not by Sight đź’•

I sigh as I deeply remember how many times I’ve tried to comprehend and “uncomprehend” this statement. For we live by faith, not by sight. ~2 Corinthians 5:7
Many times, we look for what we can see—trends, shopping, books, flowers, and many other things. We like to see what we want and be able to make an “informed” judgment about it.

Yet somehow, as our loving Father would have it, He has made it so that we should choose to walk in Faith, something we cannot see.
Hebrews 11:1 “Now Faith is the substance of  things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen
This can be frustrating, timeless, and boundless because we tend to believe that we need to see with our eyes and perceive things clearly.

We love to see and judge, but Faith does not work that way it works through Hope, letting go and surrender.  Not easy at first… But it slowly establishes a sense of great rewards in our hearts like peace, love, hope and patience. I think even more intimately, this faith is about trust. It’s saying “God I know this is You and I trust You 💕”
A hope that never gives up, constantly bears, does not run dry and constantly fulfils.

In Matthew 13, Jesus tells the Parable of the Sower, where He says that the ones by the wayside are the people who receive the word with gladness, but the enemy takes away what was sown in their hearts. The enemy won’t attack your physical strength first; he will start with the one that matters more—your faith!

It might seem impossible but we must dare to keep on hoping each day we wake up. Keep that hope alive, dream, apply and Believe. That’s the faith I’m learning to have.

May God help us cure our unbelief and to always Keep Faith strong!
In the name of Jesus
Amen !🙏
