HOPE ALIVE!!πŸŒ„

Many are the troubles that weigh down our hearts. Sometimes it is the experiences we go through, the people we meet, the tasks we take, maybe its school or work. We become swamped up and life stops making sense for a minute. We are never really prepared to face the battles of the mind and the heart. Usually, it comes as a surprise and as a result, the inner man becomes wounded. It becomes hard to cope, sometimes hard to speak up. Will all this trouble, anxiety, fear and worry ever end? In a world so broken, a troubled mind is a state that we might experience quite often.

John 16:33β€œI have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Jesus here prepares the disciples for whatwas to come. He knew life would be tough, especially after He left. He probably knew there would come a time when they would be at their lowest points in life. But He gave them hope; a reason to continue pushing on. He gives an assurance that in him there is peace.
One of the beautiful gifts we have received from the Lord is HOPE. Not the delulu type of hope where one would wish for a fortunate occurrence, this hope means having a deep trust in Him and His promises no matter the circumstances. If He says He will be with you then He surely will. Keep that hope alive!

That despite the burdens of life, there is hope that you are not alone, hope that He will free you from the heaviness of your heart and hope that life is worth living. There might be no heads up for these seasons in life, but the Lord provides so much hope, encouragement and freedom. It might be
through friends, through a song, or through the word, whatever the case His presence still stands and that is the hope we should have.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord is aware of everything. Nothing in creation is hidden from God, everything is laid bare in his sight. He knows when it hurts, when its overwhelming, when all seems hopeless. In that moment of despair run to Him. Although it is habitual to wallow in anxiety, to shut down and perhaps loose hope in the face of mental struggles, it is more freeing to put your trust in the Lord during these circumstances and know that He cares.
Keep that hope alive! Remember,’ there is nothing that has hurt you that can scar you for life, nothing that troubles you that will burden you forever, there’s nothing that you
cannot recover from because there is nothing that the Lord cannot heal or change.’

Psalm 42:5 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God!
