What is the perfect puzzle in our lives ?
We all dream of having perfect pieces, our grades, our bodies, our hair, even our partners. But these things don’t always satisfy our hearts? So what truly does? Even when choosing shoes, we want those that perfectly fit. Can we really find that kind of completeness in people or the world?
In John 4, the Samaritan woman at the well meets Jesus. She had five husbands and was living with another man, yet she was still searching for something to truly satisfy her. Jesus then tells her that He is the Living Water, and whoever drinks from Him will never thirst again.
“But the water that I shall give them will become in them a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Like many of us, the woman was puzzled, what did He mean by “never thirst again”? Jesus didn’t come only to sacrifice His life and leave. Nooo! He came as the Beginning and the End, putting an end to sin and to the endless search for satisfaction in things that can never truly fulfill us.
Wait, does that mean that with Him being the centerpiece, He won’t give us what we desire? No.
It just means that even when the other pieces fall, He remains at the centre, the perfect piece that never fails and always holds your hand! And that’s all we need! So if you knew you needed an important drug to survive, would you abandon it completely or cherish it fully?
How, then, can we cherish Christ? It’s simple: spend more time with Him, talk to Him, pray, and even set dates with Him. Most importantly, read the Word of God and strive to live according to it! So just wait and see how much our Lord will deliver perfect peace as the centre piece !!!❤️✨
